As principal of Telesis Academy of Science and Math, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year at Telesis. We are all excited to have students back in our classrooms and hallways filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning. Additionally, we strive to challenge each student to grow in his or her academic abilities to be college and career ready. At Telesis Academy, we have great teachers who spend hours planning and creating classroom activities to engage our students in learning. Our teachers utilize research-based best practices and analyze academic data to determine current skill levels and to set individual goals for growth and improvement. We believe that all students should have the opportunity to attend college.
Throughout the year there are many opportunities for parents and family members to become engaged with your child’s learning experience. I highly recommend that you consider joining our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) as the PTO has been a huge supporter of the initiatives and beliefs that the families, teachers, and staff embrace here at Telesis. The PTO meets once a month and the meetings are open to all who wish to attend.
I am honored to serve as the principal of Telesis Academy of Science and Math. It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where parents, teachers and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth. Please feel free to contact me or Mrs. Oh, our Assistant Principal at 626.965.1696 or at email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once again, welcome back! Let’s make it another great year at Telesis together!
Telesis Academy of Science and Math is a S.T.E.A.M Academy and the first ever No Excuses Prep Academy in the Nation. Our culture is rooted in the belief that each and every student should have the opportunity to attend college should they choose to do so. We are a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics Academy (S.T.E.A.M.) and are currently partnered with the California Science Center. The partnership with the California Science Center is allowing us to incorporate the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) into our teaching TK-8th grade as well as learning to think and work like Engineers.
