Character Counts

Students at Telesis Academy are learning what it means to have CHARACTER!  Character Counts is an international program that teaches children the importance of living and demonstrating six powerful character traits that will help them throughout their lives.  Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and good Citizenship are the six pillars that make up this program. 

Telesis Academy students beginning in kindergarten all the way through eighth grade learn about these character traits throughout the school year.  Since adoption of this program we have seen dramatic changes in our students behavior and decision making skills that will propel them towards more successful school and life choices.  Parents and family members can help to reinforce good character by asking your child if their choices show good character.  We look forward to sharing more of this program with you during the school year.
